A Response is a New series of Answers to Statements.  This is the 2nd response.

Statement:

Water baptism is the next step in your walk with the Lord Jesus after you believe God has raised His son Jesus from the dead and has appointed him the Lord and you have made the confession 
Jesus is Lord.


Answer:


What is true is that the moment we made the confession Jesus is Lord we are baptized with the gift of holy spirit by the Lord Jesus.

Our next step in our walk is to be transformed by our walk in the spirit.  The moment we were baptized with holy spirit we received a new creation within us.  

This creation is the gift of holy spirit and it has 9 manifestations and 9 fruit. 

It is also our responsibility to put on the Armor of Light.  Ephesians 6

Yahweh the Lord God has not given us a spirit of fear.  This gift of holy spirit within us is the power of God, the love of God and via holy spirit Yahweh the Lord God and the Lord Jesus communicate with us.

Yahweh the Lord God sent the promised spirit on the day of Pentecost in the year of the death, resurrection and ascension of the Lord Jesus.

We have the record in Acts 2 that all who believed the Apostle Peter were baptized with holy spirit.  We receive this gift of holy spirit from Yahweh the Lord God through His son the Lord Jesus.

Pentecost was a day of reformation in our relationship with God through the Lord Jesus.  Once we believe Yahweh the Lord God has raised His son Jesus from the dead and confess Jesus is Lord we are baptized with the gift of holy spirit within us.


The Apostle Paul expounded the Faith in the Church Epistles.

He explained this baptism of holy spirit makes each one of us a member in particular of The Church of His Body the Lord Jesus.  The Church began on the day of Pentecost.

Adam and Eve were the first humans to receive holy spirit within them by Yahweh the Lord God.
Yahweh the Lord God formed Adam of the earth and made him a living breathing being.  He formed Eve from the rib of Eve and made her a living breathing being.

Yahweh the Lord God then created holy spirit within them.  No humans before Adam and Eve had received holy spirit.  This holy spirit within Adam and Eve was a new creation.  It never existed before Yahweh the Lord God created it.

The narrative reveals to us that Adam and Eve disobeyed Yahweh the Lord God.  On the very day of this disobedience they lost their gift of holy spirit.  They were also expelled from the Garden of Eden the first Paradise.

We whom believe the Faith and believe Yahweh the Lord God raised His son from the dead and we Confess Jesus is Lord are baptized with the gift of holy spirit by GRACE.  We have this gift of holy spirit until the day we die or the day the Lord Jesus appears and gathers us together and gives us an immortal human body just like his.

We are to walk in the spirit in spiritual fellowship with Yahweh the Lord God and the Lord Jesus.  It was confirmed the day the promised spirit was sent that Yahweh the Lord God appointed His son both Messiah and Lord.

The Lord Jesus is also the Head or Leader of The Church of His Body.

Yahweh the Lord God has set the Lord Jesus as the cornerstone of The Faith.  We are to endeavor to walk in the spirit to buildup The Church of His Body on the cornerstone of The Faith.

We are baptized with holy spirit and are members in particular of The Church of His Body the Lord Jesus.

This holy spirit is of spiritual origin from Yahweh the Lord God.  We are ONE and are to keep the unity of the spirit.
We are ONE spiritually united by the habitation of Yahweh the Lord God by our baptism of holy spirit.  Ephesians 2:18-22.  Yahweh the Lord God works within us to work His good pleasure.  Yahweh the Lord God and the Lord Jesus both communicate with us via holy spirit.

This gift of holy spirit is sealed within us.  We cannot lose it.  We have it by grace.

This holy spirit within us enables us to do the same works that Yahweh the Lord God did through the Lord Jesus in his ministry to Israel.

The 21^st Century Church fellowships that practice water baptism are in darkness.

To begin with, they do not understand that water baptism was required under the Mosaic Law and people were baptized into Moses.

The Apostle Paul makes it clear our identity is with the Lord Jesus.  Our holy spirit within us is Christ in us – Colossians 1:27.  Our life is with Yahweh the Lord God through the Lord Jesus.

The fellowships that water baptize fail to understand the fact we are baptized with the gift of holy spirit since the day of Pentecost.

The Apostle Paul clearly states that there is only ONE Baptism since the day of Pentecost.  This baptism is the baptism of holy spirit the moment we Confess Jesus is Lord.

This holy spirit within us is the witness to the reality of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus.  We are to walk in the spirit which no one can see within us except by the light of the 9 manifestations and 9 fruit of our holy spirit.

We are already given the fulness of Yahweh the Lord God just as Yahweh gave the fulness of the spirit to His son the Lord Jesus.
 
We are to manifest this spirit into the physical world where it is visible to others.  When we do so we are inspired or filled to overflowing and act to manifest holy spirit in the physical world.  Our holy spirit has 9 manifestations and 9 fruit.  No more and no less.

The Lord Jesus commanded his disciples to not leave Jerusalem, but to wait for the gift my Father promised.

The Lord Jesus also told them that John the Baptist baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with holy spirit.  The promised holy spirit was sent on the day of Pentecost.  Acts 2

The Lord Jesus told his disciples that this holy spirit is power from on high.
Luke 24:49  This holy spirit is of spiritual origin from Yahweh the Lord God who is the ONE Eternal Spirit.  His power is within us.

The Apostle Peter told the Jewish assembly present on the day of Pentecost that Yahweh the Lord God has raised His son Jesus from the dead, whereof we all are witnesses.

Yahweh the Lord God has highly exalted His son Jesus by placing him at His own right hand next to His Throne in His most high place in the heavens.

Yahweh the Lord God has now sent the promised holy spirit, which you now see and hear.

There were cloven tongues like as of fire and these tongues sat upon each disciple of the Lord Jesus and they began to speak in tongues.  Speaking in tongues is one of the 9 manifestations of the gift of holy spirit.

The tongues they spoke were in the languages of the people present.  They heard the disciples speak the wonderful works of God in their own language. 
What happened that day is indisputable proof Yahweh the Lord God kept His promise and did indeed send the promised gift of holy spirit.

John the Baptist said that he baptized people with water but that the Lord Jesus would baptize people with holy spirit.  And we see since the day the promised holy spirit was sent that is just what is happening to this day.

According to the Apostle Paul we worship Yahweh the Lord God by the circumcision of the spirit.  We worship God by speaking in tongues which is to pray in the spirit.

We are circumcised not by the circumcision done by the hands of men but our circumcision is of spiritual origin by being baptized with the gift of holy spirit.

The Apostle Paul informs us we are baptized with the gift of holy spirit by grace into ONE Body which is the Body of Christ.  The Lord Jesus is the head or leader of The Church of His Body.

The Apostle Paul explains when we received holy spirit we were buried with the Lord Jesus in baptism of holy spirit, and we were raised with him through faith in the power of Yahweh the Lord God that He raised His son Jesus from the dead and we made the confession Jesus is Lord.

We have made the confession Jesus is Lord based on the fact that his Father Yahweh the Lord God duly appointed him both the Messiah & Lord.  This appointment as Messiah & Lord was confirmed when the promised holy spirit was sent on the day of Pentecost.

Fellowships in The Church of His Body the Lord Jesus quote 1 Peter 3:21

The Apostle Peter was not promoting water baptism.  He said the Lord Jesus was put to death but made alive by Yahweh the Lord God who is the ONE Eternal Spirit.  He says NOW that baptism – baptism with holy spirit – not water – we receive after we Confess Jesus is Lord – is the baptism of holy spirit unto everlasting life.   

The Apostle Peter states water baptism symbolizes NOW the baptism of holy spirit.  The law required water baptism and it was symbolic of that which came on the day the promised spirit was sent.

There is only ONE Baptism after the promised holy spirit was sent.  The ONE baptism is the baptism of holy spirit within us.

The Apostle Paul has us to understand we are ONE Body by our baptism of holy spirit.

The same power that raised the Lord Jesus from the dead is now within us.

We are rescued from the power of Darkness and made the righteousness of God by our baptism of holy spirit.

Yahweh the Lord God is within us by our baptism of holy spirit through the Lord Jesus.

Collectively as The Church we are the Temple of Yahweh the Lord God.

Individually each one of us as a member in particular of The Church are a Tabernacle wherein Yahweh the Lord God dwells within us.

Yahweh the Lord God sent the promised gift of holy spirit on the day of Pentecost.

It is clear that since that day all who believe The FAITH and Confess Jesus is Lord are baptized with the gift of holy spirit by grace.

The Apostle Paul has given us the command to walk in the spirit.

Let us walk in the spirit to be light to people we have the opportunity to witness to of the love of Yahweh the Lord God and the Gospel of His son the Lord Jesus.
